Travis John VanDerBosch

Travis John VanDerBosch July 20, 1991 - September 24, 2025 Travis John VanDerBosch was a beloved partner, son, brother, uncle and friend who passed away on September 24th at the age of 34.

Travis was born on July 20, 1991, to Deb and John VanDerBosch in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was raised in Afton. From a young age, he loved to tinker and experiment - an early sign of the brilliant mind that would lead him to earn a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Travis found love and joy, marrying his wife, Haley, June 26th, 2021.

Travis deeply cherished his relationships with friends and family, making it a point to connect with those he loved throughout each day. He had a profound affection for animals, especially his beloved cats, Vision (who preceded him in death) and Tucker. Travis also had a deep love for music, often finding personal meaning in lyrics and the emotions they carried. He was especially passionate about playing the drums, a hobby he carried into adulthood. Travis often sought out new songs to challenge himself and refine his skills. He appreciated complexity and detail, which he channeled into many areas of his life, particularly food and cooking. He especially looked forward to his annual plum jam canning sessions and loved experimenting with new recipes, always adding his own creative touch.

Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents Reuben and Emily Moll and Kenneth and Lois VanDerBosch. He is survived by his partner Haley, parents John and Deb, brother Chris (Eva), nieces Aubrey and Sophie, and beloved extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater MN 55082. Beginning with a visitation from 4:00pm - 5:30pm, followed by a celebration of life at 5:30pm with dinner to follow.
