Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Lake; brother, Elmer T. Nelson; parents, Horatio W. and Florence Todd Nelson.
She is survived by children, Richard (Andrea), Douglas (Betsy), Nancy (Martin) Gaines; grandchildren, Benjamin E. Lake, Ashley Gaines, Lindsay Gaines, Todd Gaines, Alexander Lake, and Shams Lake; great-grandson, Milo Lake; nephews, J. Todd Nelson and Robert M. Nelson and their children.
