Vongpany Lieng Phonvidone

Vongpany "Lieng" Phonvidone, age 66, of St. Cloud, MN, passed away on February 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Lieng was born on February 9, 1960, in Savannakhet, Laos. He later immigrated to the United States, where he made his home for 46 years and built a life centered on family and hard work.

In July of 1987, he was united in marriage to Tammy Jean Bjerke. Together they shared 38 wonderful years of marriage, creating a life grounded in dedication, perseverance, and deep love for their family.

Lieng was known for his easygoing personality, warm sense of humor, and incredible cooking. He found great joy in watching football, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. His presence brought laughter, comfort, and strength to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Phonvidone; his children, Nea (Adam) Johnson, Tim (Bree) Phonvidone and; his cherished grandchildren, Weston, Wyatt, Harlow, Kai, and Ari; adopted siblings, and several birth siblings (still in Laos and Thailand); and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his adopted father, Noune Phongvidone; his birth parents; and unknown siblings.

A service to honor Lieng's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on February 21, 2026, at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, MN 55127. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
