Age 96, of Stillwater
Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister, formerly of Birchwood on White Bear Lake. Died peacefully on December 24. Born in Sedgwick, KS. Preceded in death by husband Dale, daughter Janice, parents Walter and Verna Peters, brothers Luvern and Melvin, sister Gladys. Survived by daughters Barbara (Dick) Murray and Verna LeMire; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Joyce Willis, Judy Block and Gerri Ball; many other relatives and friends. Loraine was a member of White Bear Women's Club. She loved traveling, bowling, golfing, music, crafts, her dogs and spending time with her family. She especially loved her home in Birchwood on White Bear Lake, where she and Dale lived for over 40 years. A special thank you to the staff at Project Caring Assisted Living, who cared for Loraine and Tango for the past three years. Thanks also to the Lakeview Hospice, who helped so much during the past six months. Memorial service 11AM Saturday at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Cty Rd %5) Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
