Wallace John Kalscheuer

Wallace John "Wally" Kalscheuer

Born August 10, 1941, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Leo and Myrtle (née Cater) Kalscheuer, passed away leaving a legacy of hard work, quiet leadership, and deep roots in his home state.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon Peterson. He is survived by his niece, Michelle Peterson Clark, and his nephew, Michael Peterson, who will miss him dearly.

A proud and dedicated electrician, Wally worked in the trade for many years and was an active member of IBEW Local 292. Following his retirement, his commitment to his union brothers and sisters continued; he stepped into a leadership role with the IBEW-affiliated credit union, where his sharp financial acumen and steady guidance provided lasting value to his colleagues.

A true Minnesotan at heart, Wally was happiest when cheering on the Vikings or spending time at his cabin in Ogilvie, whether out hunting or casting a line on the water. He leaves behind cherished memories of good times spent up north and a community made stronger by his presence.
Funeral Service Sunday, August 30th, 1:00 P.M., with lunch to follow, at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation one hour prior.
