Walter M.
Joined his family in heaven unexpectedly January 2, 2019, at age 92. He had sailed the seas and crossed the country; his wandering spirit is now at peace. Walter served his country in WWII as a member of the U. S. Merchant Marine. In 1975 he retired from a long career as a heavy truck mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Carol I. Holm (nee Petersdorf), 4 children; Sharon Clark (Bob); David Holm; Gail deNeui (Bob); Timothy Holm; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
