Wayne Darvell

Wayne Darvell, age 74, of North St. Paul, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Barbara Darvell, and his daughter-in-law, Tiffany Montbriand, sister in laws Amy Nelson and Nanette Darvell.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Ruth (Bowman) Darvell; their children, Dan Darvell (Amanda Forsberg), Jen Habib (Jad), Lisa Hed (Steve), and Andy Darvell (Sarah Cash-Darvell); his brother, Joe Darvell; and his six grandchildren, Samir, Maddie, Zaki, Louis, Emilie, and Wyatt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A special, heartfelt thank you is extended to the doctors and staff of Minnesota Oncology, St. John's Hospital, and Pillars Hospice for their compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater on January 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation taking place one hour prior. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wayne's name may be made to the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), or to the American Cancer Society by following the links below. He was a longtime member of the NAVHDA, devoted to working with his own dogs and helping others.
