Wilfred "Bill" Buhl was born in Waubun, MN on October 14, 1924 to John and Mary Ann (Blair) Buhl. Wilfred served in the U.S. Army during World War II, participating in the European Theater of Operations where he was awarded two Bronze Stars. Wilfred married Evelyn Marie Mertens in 1953 and through his employment moved to Stillwater, MN in 1957. Wilfred and Evelyn were married for 62 years and had 4 children. Wilfred was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Myrtle Shanahan; brother, Frank Buhl. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Mertens) Buhl; son, Michael Buhl; daughter, Barbara Ann (Henry) Auge; son, John Buhl; daughters, Mary Ann (Trenton "Jamie") Wood; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 9:00 followed by a 10:00 service at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER in Stillwater, MN
