William Charles "Bill" Diesslin

Age 88, passed away on May 26, 2023, after a long, happy, and productive life.

Bill is survived by his wife Audrey; children, John (Mary) Diesslin, Theresa (Richard) Braun, David (Anita) Diesslin, and William (Brenda) Diesslin Jr.; sister Elizabeth Olson; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by brothers, John "George" (Oneta) Diesslin, and Ernest (Barbara) Diesslin.

Bill was born on October 23, 1934, to Swiss immigrants John "Hans" and Frieda Diesslin, in West St. Paul, Minnesota. Orphaned at the age of 14, he served in the United States Air Force soon after graduating high school. He went on to learn the trades of welding and mechanics. He was also the Secretary - Treasurer for Lodge 737 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Bill was hard working and self-reliant, but always made time for fun. He will be dearly missed

by family and friends.
