Age 50. Flew home to Jesus from the arms of his loving family and friends March 26, 2016. A Viking Warrior by nature he was born and raised in Alexandria surrounded by lakes, wildlife, generations of family and lifelong friends, moved to Bayport in 1994. Along with his passion for Indian artifacts and the land, he opened his heart to Meredeth. Known for his strength, integrity, faith and wit, he was a role model for daughter, Candyce, and all who knew him. Bill was energized by his career in LE, loved his partners both K-9/human, and the excuse to drive fast. A true demo derby man up to his last breath. He is survived by wife, Meredeth (Magers); daughter, Candyce; and grandsons, Arlo and Arden; mother, Helen; best friend/brother Bradly (Tina); nieces, Larissa, Taylor, Lybbie, and Lainey; nephews, Mike, Matt, Jake and Garrett; Aunts, Kitty, Joyce, and Blanche; uncle, Ben; mother, brother and sisters in law, Mary, Robert, Julie and Cheryl; beloved pets; in addition to his awesome relatives and friends. A special thanks to the Courageous LE Officers and spouses who supported and loved him, especially those who stayed by his side to the end. Drs., Staff, Chaplin Beth at Regions Hospital, Vicki, Pastor Jon Brohn whose words provided much strength to us all. In lieu of flowers Bill's loved charities were K-9 unit Wash Co, Gospel Mission, S. Army , H. Society and others which supported those in need. Visitation Wednesday, March 30 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater. Service Thursday, March 31 at 11:00AM with a visitation one hour prior at Salem Lutheran Church, 14940 62nd St. N, Stillwater. Interment Friday, April 1 at 11:00AM at White Gardens Cemetery in Farwell, MN.
