Grandfather, great-grandfather

Bill Loft, age 81, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2021 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; children, Valerie Koch, Angela (Greg) Lindow, William (Christine) Loft; grandchildren, Lindsay, Thomas (Paige); great-grandchildren, Xavier, Charlotte, and soon-to-be-born Nora; sister, Betty Gerlach; brother-in-law, Bernard Fritz, many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be welcomed in heaven by grandchildren,  Sgt. Brent Koch, Tyler, Nicholas, Hope, Ryder & Peyton Loft. A tire salesman by trade, Bill loved the outdoors and pursued many interests: golfing, fishing and hunting, to name a few. He was a great dancer, and a fan of whatever football team was winning. Best of all, he loved a cold Schmidt by the bonfire. He will be deeply missed. Friends and family will gather to celebrate and remember Bill at 11:00 on Friday, May 7 at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
