Brett Edgell

Brett A. passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022 after a recent diagnosis of cancer.

He is survived by his partner of ten years, Molly Carlson; children, Angela (Justin) Nielsen, Brett (Jennifer Pederson)Edgell, Jr., Emily (Brian) Chenal, Andrew (Samantha) Carlson, Peter (Kayla) Carlson; grandchildren, Sage, Gabe, Madison, Malana, Katie, Sorrelle, Easton, Demi, Landon, Noah, Piper, Beckett, Sawyer, Hadley, Drake, Bristol, Rhett, Levi; brother, Anthony (Elizabeth) Blass; nieces and nephew, Kathryn, Joslyn, Sawyer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Brian Edgell.

Brett was a big personality, he always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. There was nothing he liked better than to have an engaging conversation with a good or new friend. He loved a good adventure just as much as he loved peace and quiet.

Brett was blessed with two children, Angela and Brett, Jr.  They enjoyed boating, swimming, summer camps, outdoor concerts and family barbecues with their dad.  Angela and Brett, Jr. blessed their dad with several grandchildren. The laughter of children was music to his ears. He loved his grandkids and was proud of the amazing people they were becoming.

Brett found a lot of joy in his work as a monetary specialist. Listening to him speak to clients for hours at a time surely helped Molly get through the pandemic. He had many clients who would call him weekly to chat about finances and the way the world was and is.

Ten years ago Brett met his life partner, Molly.  Their romance was full of travel, salsa dancing, sailing, bicycling, family time and entertaining friends with a variety of theme parties.
