Carolyn Nelson

Carolyn Rae Bong Huntsberger Nelson was born in November 4, 1946 in Duluth, MN. Her parents were Raymond and Frances Bong. She died peacefully from COVID -19 complications on 1/14/21 at St. Joe’s Hospital in St. Paul. She went to be with her Lord Jesus at the age of 74.

She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Roger Bong. Survived by husband, Roger Nelson; daughter, Carrie Huntsberger; son in law, Jose Serrano; son, Steven Huntsberger; stepchildren, Joel Nelson, Jill Vegas and Jeff (Lindsey) Nelson; brother, Richard (Mary) Lathrop; eleven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was a kind, patient and compassionate wife and mom. She was deeply loved by her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
