Of Vadnais Heights
Daniel entered heaven on January 26th, 2023. Proud owner of The Old Clover Inn for over 27 years. He loved his job and his family. Dan cherished many summers spent at the lake tinkering with boats and fishing tackle and entertaining many friends. During his years in Vadnais Heights, he served on the Vadnais Heights Lions Club and was a giving member of the community. It was a supportive community that he loved very much. He enjoyed traveling and loved his annual fishing trip to Orr, MN with his family and friends. Dan is preceded in death by his father, Edward Mundt. Survived by mother, Lucile Dvorak; siblings, Edward (Deloris) Mundt Jr. and Linda (Ken) Costa. Survived by children, Patrick (Gina) Taft, Christine (Kevin) Fountaine; wife, Joanne Hemann-Mundt; and former wife, Deb Dixon. Also survived by former wife, Wanda Mundt; and their children, Aaron (Sheila) Mundt, Chad Mundt, and Nici (Derek) Dorner. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other friends and family members. Memorial service will be 11:00am Wednesday, February 1 at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, with visitation one hour prior. All are welcome to lunch following the service. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
