Edna Mae Bjorkman

Age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Maplewood on September 18, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; parents, Ole and Lillian Knutson; and brother, Robert Knutson.

She will be sadly missed by her children, David (Mary), Diana (Tom) Weggel, Don (Diana), Dale (Beth Kothe); grandchildren, Melissa, Kate, Matt, Erik, Chris, Jessie, Alex, and Elise; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Coryea; brother, Lowell Knutson; sister-in-law, Darlene Knutson; and her life-long friend, Gloris Swager.

Edna grew up in Clear Lake Wisconsin and when she was just 11 she was doing a ‘man's work’ on the farm before eventually moving to St. Paul.  She retired from First Bank System having worked as a marketing analyst and a personal banker.  She was a talented writer and a life-long student who found special joy and strength being surrounded by all of her grand and great-grandchildren.

Private family service will be held.
