Joseph Baerthel

Joseph Leandrew Baerthel loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Leo; aunt, Clara; brother, Leo; brother-in-law, Eddie VanTassel; cousin, Alberta Ramo.

Joe passed away peacefully on August 11th and is survived by his wife, Pam; daughters, Malinda (Ryan) Sandberg of McKinney, TX and Kaytee Baerthel of Stewartville; step-daughter Amy of Arden Hills; grandchildren, Makayla, Amber, Aryana, Laci, Rilyn, Joe, and Cheyenne; siblings, Linda VanTassel, Helen Thuringer, Kathy (Jamie) Marlowe, Justin (JoAnn) Baerthel; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed being out with Pam on their Harleys. He was a member of Heavy Equipment Local 49ers and later drove truck over the road for many years, primarily for Koch Trucking.

A memorial gathering will be from 3-6PM Saturday, August 17 at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear - come with a memory to share. Memorials to the family preferred.
