Karliesha Marie Weston

Passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 41.  She is survived by husband, Yarlon; mother, Laurie Salak; father, Walter Bradley; sons, Keyshawn and Montese; sisters, Marlanda and Deanna; brother, Perry; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Karliesha is remembered especially for her wonderful laugh and smile.  Both as a child and an adult,  Kari was an outgoing person who started conversations with strangers as if they were long-time friends.  As a child,  she loved – in no particular order – swimming,  roller skating,  art projects, stories,  and gardening.  She was adventurous and struck out on her own at the young age of 17,  trusting herself more than others and trying lots of avenues in her life.   She tried her hand at sales -  Cutco knives, jewelry, even door-to-door vacuum sales -  and was very good at it with her personal friendliness and self-confidence.  Soon she became the wife of Yarlon, and a mother to two beautiful children,  Keyshawn and Montese.   She attended Hubb Center for Learning, proudly earning her HS diploma, and worked at jobs at Mystic Lake Casino, St. Paul/Minneapolis Airport, and Caesar’s Pizza, among others.  Over her adult years, Karla had various personal struggles which began to take a toll on her health.  Her too-short life was both happy and sad, very challenging,  and ultimately she lost her way and her life despite the care given by those who supported her. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6,  2023, 2:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96, White Bear, with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M.  Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
