Margaret"Peggy" Hinz

Margaret “Peggy” Katherine Hinz, age 71, of Mpls passed away peacefully on the afternoon of April 24, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family after living with pancreatic cancer for four and a half years. Her ashes will be entombed at Lakewood Cemetery.

Peggy loved ferociously. When asked what she valued most in this life, her response was love – and that she found this love through the friends and family she met during every phase of her journey: early life in Wood Lake and Watertown, Minnesota, her life and family in St Cloud, Minnesota, her career and friendships at the phone company, her passion for theater, raising her daughter, her second career and friendships through massage therapy, and the wonderful friends and family formed through this last leg of her journey with her love, Dan.

Peggy was preceded in death by her infant son Aaron David Hinz Boudreau, her brother James Edward, her mother Katherine Elizabeth (Brainard), and her father Gerhardt Julius. She is survived by her daughter Christine Lenzen (Michael Walker); her husband Daniel Wengenroth and step-sons Daniel (Niki) Munthe and John Wengenroth (Danyelle Fenner); her sister Elizabeth Hinz (Paul Patel) and nephew Tom Anderson (Lauren Haisley); her brother John Hinz and niece Karen, niece Angel (Jim) Jepsen and countless loving friends.
