Rita Haines

Rita F. Haines, age 95 of Stillwater, passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family on April 30, 2021. She is survived by her son, Joe (Bonnie) Haines; grandchildren, Michael (Abby) Haines, Cari (Anthony) Myhra; grandchildren, Haley Mae, Anna Rita, Sabrina Maria, Harvey Joseph, Teresa Lucia; sister, Jeanette Fletch; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Frank Haines; son, Timothy Joseph Haines; and nine siblings. It is no exaggeration to say that Rita was an angel on earth. A farm girl through and through, Rita tended to cows and horses and people, too. She took the time to know her kids’ and grandkids’ friends, sent birthday cards money to an ever-growing list of dear ones, and made donations to any charitable organization that asked. Her selflessness was her trademark, and she was the glue that held her family together through tragedies and times of plenty. Rita’s family invites you to celebrate her life at their farm at 11AM on Saturday, June 26.
