Passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, with family at his side on January 25, 2023, age 86. Preceded in death by son, Daryl. Survived by wife of 61 years, Darlene; daughter, Debra (Jim) McGill, along with their children, Maggie and Michael; son, David (Chris), along with their son, Riley; and daughter, Dana (Jay) Kurtis, along with their children Emma and Easton; siblings, Merlyn, Vivian Byl, Vernon (Marilyn), Evelyn Borg, and twin brother, Ray (Marlene); many nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Memorial Service Thursday, February 2, 11:00 A.M. at ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi. Visitation one hour prior. Burial Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
