ZARINS, SKAIDRITE (nee Plate)
Age 95 of St. Paul, was born in Latvia on February 24th, 1925, and left this “beautiful world” peacefully on January 12th, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally and survived by her sons, David (Nancy) and Jon (Lila); her granddaughters, Stacy (Alex) Heihn, Lori (Joe) Carwardine, and Molly (Adam) Kaiser; great-grandchildren, Preston, Elise, Grace and Julia. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends both in the United States and internationally.
With Skai’s kind heart and social personality she developed many close friendships over the years, including neighbors, social clubs, and coworkers from Unisys Corp. She treasured her membership at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, where she was a long standing and faithful member.
Skai was a remarkable woman that always saw the good in every person and situation. Her memory will leave a lasting legacy of kindness to all who knew her. As the “beautiful flowers” bloom each year, we will be reminded to “love one another and love life,” as she did.
A celebration of her life is being planned, and will be announced at a future date.
